Social activist Anna Hazare had on Saturday announced an indefinite hunger strike in his village of Ralegan Siddhi against the central government’s new agriculture law. However, after a meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary, Anna Hazare announced that he had postponed his fast. Famous Bollywood director Hansal Mehta responded to this via tweet. His tweet is also going viral.
Hansal Mehta wrote in his tweet, “I supported Anna Hazare with the same faith as I supported Arvind. I’m not sorry because we all make mistakes. I also did the movie ‘Simran’. ‘ It was clear from Hansal’s tweet that it was also his mistake to support Anna Hazare’s movement. There have been many reactions to Hansal’s tweet.
In a meeting with Anna Hazare, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailas Chaudhary assured him of his views on behalf of the government. Regarding his fast, Anna Hazare said, “The central government is not very sensitive about farmers, so I will go on an indefinite fast in my village from January 30.” He also appealed to the supporters not to gather in his village in Ahmednagar district considering the threat of corona virus.
