The tussle between Raut and Ranaut has been ongoing ever since the latter compared Mumbai to ‘Pakistan Occupied Kashmir’ (POK). The renowned actress had said that she feels more afraid of Mumbai Police than the ‘movie mafia’. This happened in the backdrop of ruckus over the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
The comments made against Mumbai and the city’s police didn’t go well with Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. The verbal spat between the two turned into a war of words. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had demolished a part of Ranaut’s office in Pali Hill, Bandra citing illegal structure violations.
However, Ranaut said that the demolition was a result of her ongoing tussle with the Maharashtra government. She said that Shiv Sena was guilty of political vendetta.
She earlier shared the photo of Kamra and Raut saying that such mockery of the demolition of her Mumbai office validates her claims that the BMC’s actions were “illegal”.
“Even though I faced massive harassment, financial losses, mental and emotional torture but Maharashtra government’s incompetence and political innocence stands exposed so my struggles were all worth it, such mockery of illegal demolition of my house validates my claims about them,” Ranaut tweeted.
