Mumbai: Actor Sonu Sood said that interacting with people during the lockdown has changed their outlook on life. This has inspired him to write a memoir titled “I am no messiah”. Sood helped many people reach their homes during the lockdown imposed in March last year. Simultaneously released the Overseas Employment App so that people looking for jobs can get employment. Sood, who has worked in the movie “Dabangg”, said that interacting with people during the lockdown changed his outlook on life and this inspired him to write a memoir.
He has written this book together with Meena’s Iyer. Sood said in an interview to PTI-Language, “The lockdown changed his attitude towards looking at life. I will always remember 2020 as a year when we all tried to make the best of ourselves. The memoir was my way of remembering those moments. The memoir is very special. “This book has been published by Penguin Random House India.” “I’m No Messiah” recounts the 47-year-old actor’s emotional and often challenging journey he has made with those he helped. According to the actor’s team, Sood helped about one lakh people from Mumbai, Odisha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and other states reach their homes and provide medical and employment support to the needy. The actor has played villain roles in films like “Dabangg”, “Simmba”, “R .. Rajkumar” and “Arundhati”.
