Veteran singer Kumar Sanu has tested positive for the Coronavirus. The news was confirmed by his team. Reportedly, Kumar was supposed to fly off to the US to be with his family however now that he has contracted the deadly virus he had to cancel his plans.
Taking to the singer’s Facebook page, Kumar confirmed that he has tested positive for Covid-19. “Unfortunately Sanuda has tested Corona positive, please pray for his good health. Thank You Team KS.” Currently, the singer is under quarantine.
According to a report in Times of India, Kumar was looking forward to spending his birthday on October 20 with his wife Saloni and daughters, Shannon and Annabel.
Speaking to Bombay Times, the singer’s wife Saloni said, “He will come to the US on November 8 if he feels alright by then. Right now he is under the mandatory quarantine. He has been craving to meet us for the last nine months. If he is unable to travel later, then his family will come down Mumbai to celebrate all the upcoming festivals with him.”
